Her most well-known work is her part in The Fresh Prince of Bel Air's sitcom Ashley Banks. At age four she began to sing and soon managed to gain some fame by asking her mother to take her to Sesame Street auditions. The actress began her journey as an actor regularly in 1985 when she was a six year old on Sesame Street, a PBS children's television show. Her acting career continued throughout New York City with many productions such as Fences which was a Broadway production, and Orfeo del Campo that was Off-Broadway's production. When she was seven, she appeared in Star Search and won twice, receiving a four-star rating after appearing two times.
